Quick Bio

After many years of going to school and saying no to drugs I graduated with a degree!  Little did I know it would lead me to being beaten into the ground at the hands of a soulless corporation.  After 3 years I quit to play poker professionally.  I've now been full-time over 7 years, yet revenge is still in the air.  It's crazy to look back and realize I started this blog as I was simply 'pumping myself up' to quit the real world and go full time.  Now I also do some writing for fun as a 'day job' (some freelance and paid, but an insignificant sum compared to 5/10 live) and airbnb my place when I don't feel like playing as much.

Monday 6.7.2010 -$56 (Part I)

Session Overview:

Hours: 4.5

Duration:  7:30 p.m- 12:00 a.m

Hands:  3,080

Net Loss:  -$56

So down around three short-stack buy-ins for the first session tonight.  Just wanted to stop in and make a quick update.  I took an hour break and ate a meal.  Yes an actual meal, as opposed to shoving a cliff bar down my face and playing 20 minutes later.

AGain just WOW, I have no idea how I wasn't down more than this.  Running absolutely terrible again.  I hate to bore with hands but I need to hold I don't know like two of these?

Hand 1)  KK < TQ all in on the flop.  -$40

I'm 82% equity.  He rivers three of a kind.

Hand 2)  KK < QQ all in preflop.  -$40

BITCH WHORE RIVER RAT QUEEN.  Don't even get me started on the queen.  DO NOT START THIS SHIT AGAIN.  So basiclaly if I'm all in and there's a queen on the board I instantly lose.

Hand 3)  AK < AT all in preflop.  -$40.

FLOP TEN.  IT holds!

Hand 4)  AK < AT all in preflop.  -$40.

FLOP TEN.  It holds.  No I didn't type this twice by accident.  This actually happened two times in the span of 30 fucking minutes.  So play any ten against me to knock off my all in pre AK.  Unreal.

Hand 5)  AK  < T2 all in preflop.  -$44

Cold calls my $15 4-bet with T2 suited.  By the river he has a full-house, which beats my top pair king.  Just sick.

Hand 6)  AA = AJo all in preflop. -$20

The board runs out J, 5, T, Q, K.

We split with a straight.

Oh really?

Maybe a quick update later.  Trying to stay focused.  I wonder how many hours I can run like this straight, it's actually getting really funny.  At least I log all my hands to prove rig.  Just kidding, but I mean wow.

Cheers to running like shit 50 more hours!
