Fuck Leap Day (2/29/2012)

As expected my month was pretty much screwed in the last 15 hours of play which took place during 2 nights.  It's been 15 hours of mega-suckouts, super-coolers, and clueless players nailing the top end of their range and getting rewarded for bad play.  Back to the usual. 

Instead of finishing the month above average, it slipped to average at best.  +$3800 in 147 hours.  I'm a little rattled right now.  I actually picked up and left after only 5 hours tonight.  I couldn't find a good game and I was beyond sick of running like hell.  I thought it was best to go to sleep earlier and get ready for Thursday-Saturday.  I will most likely finish the week down, it's already -1200 in 15 hours.  I've already been sucked out of a 1.2k pot getting it in with a flopped straight against a dry flush draw on the flop.  The flush auto-got there on the turn.

I'm not making mistakes right now but it's one of those stretches where you feel awfully powerless.  Then you start to slip to B game and everything magnifys, your killer instinct slips until you start to run average again.

On the bright side I've had two solid months in a row.  Also, tomorrow is a new month, I have a clean slate to look forward too.  I think this emotional lapse over just dropping 2.5 buy-ins in 15 hours proves I'm not ready for 5/10 despite what all my peers say, man what the hell is wrong with me.  The last time I dropped 2.5 buy-ins consecutive was around 1/20/2012, that's 1.5 months ago.  For a brief time I was fortunate to have a massive amount of volume with less swings than usual.

I'm better than this....
